Water renewals
We’re working alongside Wellington Water to repair/replace underground pipes while Courtenay Place construction is underway.
The pipes in the Golden Mile area are critical for ensuring reliable stormwater and wastewater services in central Wellington. As the pipes in this area have all reached the end of their expected lifespan, they’re due for maintenance. By upgrading some critical pipes now, we'll be able to avoid flooding and wastewater discharge in the area and minimise digging by making the most of road closures required for upgrading the streets.
