Why hasn’t a decision been made?
From the two options that went out for feedback, neither was a clear favourite. This section is reliant on additional funding, so both options (one-way lanes on each side or a wider two-way bike path on the Park Road side) remain possibilities in the future.

What’s next?
We will continue to discuss and progress this with Enterprise Miramar Peninsula and the community, but the project is unlikely to proceed in the next few years. If and when funding becomes available, there will be another opportunity to provide feedback before Councillors make any decisions.
